2019 NLDS: Dodgers vs Nationals Game 1 Start Time

With the Washington Nationals late innings comeback win over Josh Hader and the Milwaukee Brewers, the Dodgers opponent in the NLDS became set. Moreover, Thursday’s game time at Dodger Stadium became set.

Strangely, there were two start time options based on whether LA played Milwaukee or Washington.

Now, first pitch will be at 5:37pm at Dodger Stadium on Thursday evening. Moreover, Friday’s start time became official as well. That game will begin at 6:37pm. Both times are PST.

Earlier on Tuesday our Daniel Preciado previewed the Washington Nationals ahead of the Wild Card game. However, not only did manager Dave Martinez have to burn ace starter Max Scherzer to begin the game, he also turned to co-ace Stephen Strasburg for 3 innings.

With that, Washington’s game 1 starter will likely be former Diamondback (and “Dodger killer”) Patrick Corbin.

The Dodgers have yet to announce their game 1 starter.

  1. We gonna loooooooose and it’ll be extra painful because that tool Parra is on the Nationals as well as Dozier and Hudson oh and that young kid Soto who already acts a tool

    1. Despite last nights hit, Soto is only hitting .195 over the last month. Not exactly tearing up opposing pitchers. If he’s a tool, right now he’s a left handed metric screwdriver ; )

  2. Not expecting the Dodgers to lose to the Nats. You may want to rethink your position.

  3. We will be well rested and have the advantage for game 1 we’ll be ready it really didnt matter who we played, either team were gonna have to burn good pitching to stay alive it’s all in our advantage, plus we start game 1 at home.

  4. Will the 80% of Angelenos who don’t have access to Spectrum SportsNet be blessed enough to be able to watch the game on regular TV?

  5. The last couple of games Muncy is back to swinging the bat well after his hand injury. Seager is playing well and Smith looks to have started to hit better. We will have to see about Bellinger as he has not played well in the playoffs. Lets hope the pitching staff matches up with the Nats.

    1. The Nat’s starter for Game 1 is Corbin, a LHP and one who has recently dominated the Dodgers , and let that lineup shuffling begin. Again, Dodgers swept the Giants but ALL their hitting and scoring was against their RHP and they did nothing against their lefty relievers. believe me, had Giants been in PS contention they would have done what they did in those last 3 games of the 2016 season when they swept the Dodgers by starting 3 LHP in that 3 game series.
