Wang interested in Dodgers: Diamond Leung passes along a report from a Taiwanese report that former Yankees pitcher Chien-Ming Wang is open to signing with the Dodgers if the Yankees cut him loose. He mentioned his comfort with pitching for Joe Torre.

Jon’s Take: Interesting thought here. Many pitchers have come to the Dodgers and have revived their careers. An incentive-laden contract sounds good here. He’d make a decent fifth starter, and potentially could rise to be the third starter.
