Dodgers: Chris Taylor’s Hit Forces a Fan Tattoo

Sports fans have a tendency to get a little bit crazier than the average person. From weird superstitions and rituals to getting in actual fist fights, nothing can stop a fan from proving their loyalty to their team. This rings especially true for the passionate Dodgers’ fan base.

We’re a committed group, and we don’t often back down from proving that loyalty. But sometimes, that loyalty is put to the test. That was certainly the case for Larrissa LeVasser of Porterville California on Thursday night when the Dodgers faced off against the Rockies.

Chris Taylor came up with the chance to take the lead in the 9th inning when Larrissa made a bold promise to all of Dodgers Twitter if Taylor could get on base.

Taylor followed that Tweet up with a very timely bloop single into right that scored Max Muncy and ultimately secured the win for the Dodgers. That’s when Larrissa’s mentions started to pop off a little bit.

Being the loyal fan that she is, Larrissa chose to make good on that promise she made on the internet and follow through with the Chris Taylor tattoo.

Is there a more loyal fanbase than that of the Los Angeles Dodgers? I highly doubt that especially based off of this story.

Larrissa also has a running promise of getting a Hyun-jin Ryu tattoo should he hit a home run at any point this season. You can follow her Dodgers’ ink journey on Twitter @larrissasue to keep up with her all year long.
