Player of the Day – Deivy Castillo

The AZL Dodgers have some of the Dodgers’ best, young outfield talent, including this year’s second rounder Alex Verdugo. However, in the early going, it’s 18 year old Dominican Deivy Castillo who’s been the offensive star of the team. Through seven games, Castillo is batting .458/.552/.708 with four walks, four strikeouts and four stolen bases. The 6’3 lefty center fielder signed last January along with the more heralded Ariel Sandoval, who plays along side him.
