Dodgers News: Toby Keith and Clayton Kershaw Team Up

When it comes to Clayton Kershaw helping those in need, there is no off-season. Moreover, Kershaw’s Challenge presses onward with their events to help a good cause. Now, Kershaw’s Challenge teamed up with Toby Keith for a concert that benefitted several domestic and foreign causes worldwide.

Remember, Kershaw’s Challenge hosts a special ping-pong event every summer. On Thursday, Clayton Kershaw, Toby Keith, and even still-clean shaven Justin Turner reportedly kicked off the weekend a little early.

Former Dodger Matt Kemp joined in on the festivities as well.

The sixth annual event was held at The Rustic in Dallas, Texas for those that were able to attend. Furthermore, the official Kershaw’s Challenge twitter account posted this from The Rustic:

Here was a description from the event page:

Join us for what is sure to be a fun night benefiting the following organizations: Arise Africa, Both Ends Believing, For the Nations, International Justice Mission and West Dallas Community School!

Obviously, it’s great to see Clayton and Ellen Kershaw continuing to work hard at something they’re passionate about. Second, it’s great that passion is for helping those in need. Finally, it doesn’t help to have some pull with a guy like Toby Keith when you want to throw a party and turn out some folks in the spirit of benefit.

Good on you, Clayton and Ellen!
