Reactions from Dodgers Historic Walk-Off Walkfest with Highlights

The Dodgers just completed their 26th comeback win of the season in historic fashion versus their division rivals, the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Down 4-3 with 2 outs, the Dodgers Chris Taylor, Russell Martin, Matt Beaty, and Alex Verdugo all drew walks to tie up the game 4-4.

Up comes the best player in baseball this year, Cody Bellinger, who fought from down a 1-2 count to a full count, with two outs in the bottom of the 9th inning in a tie ball game.

BALL! and the Dodgers Win! The first time in Dodgers History that a team drew 5 walks with only one out left to win a ball game.

This is how social media fans and reports reacted to the historic win.

  1. That finish last night was unheard of…..could not believe what I was watching actually happened……prior to that, I was ready to kill “Dave” for even letting Barnes bat in the ninth, given what he still had in reserve on his bench. It worked out so what can you say………….

  2. Bluz1sr, as I posted on another page here, I had my finger on the remote ready to stop playback when there were 2 outs and 2 strikes on the first batter to walk… go figure.I removed my finger from the remote.

  3. That finish last night was utterly amazing. I am still smiling in disbelief about what we all saw. Admittedly, I just knew the game was over when the Dodgers had 2 outs at the bottom of the 9th. But the Dodgers got it done and it does not matter how…..walk off (or was that a “walk in”)….rookie home runs….singles, whatever. The ending of the game was as amusing as it was unbelievable. Wow!!!
