3. Trade The Right Outfielder

Strange as it may seem, the Dodgers have actually added to their burdensome surplus of outfielders since the season ended. Prior to that taking place, Friedman acknowledged they would benefit from moving one of the outfielders.

Given the second-half resurgence he had last season, Matt Kemp has been associated most with the ongoing trade rumors. Not only did Kemp outperform Carl Crawford and Andre Ethier in 2014, he’s the youngest — even if only by two years — of the three.

While Kemp likely brings the largest return in a trade, it would strip the Dodgers of another power, right-handed bat. Trading one of or perhaps both Crawford and Ethier is certainly a more challenging task, but it would leave the Dodgers in a more favorable position.
