Aaron Judge Rumors: Yankees Up Their Offer to MVP, Dodgers ‘Team to Watch’
It has been a roller coaster for Dodgers fans this off-season. The team has lost out on the Jacob deGrom and Justin Verlander sweepstakes, Trea Turner has officially signed with the Phillies but the world still awaits to see where Aaron Judge will end up.
It seems like a lost cause for the Dodgers as the Yankees reportedly offered Judge a $300 million contract over eight years and there has been serious traction of the Giants possibly landing the All-Star. However, with all the other big names flying off the board, perhaps the team can shift focus once again.
The whirlwind of Dodgers moves not happening may give fans some hope and it could be the perfect storm for the team to swoop in and land Judge after all (via Mark Feinsand, MLB).
The Yankees — whose most recent offer to Judge was for eight years and nearly $300 million — remain the favorites to retain the slugger, though the Giants are still contenders to land Judge. Aside from those two clubs, the Dodgers are a team to watch, while the popular “mystery team” is always a possible twist to this saga.
A history-making season we’ll remember for a long time.

The team officially has bigger needs, especially with the news of Turner leaving so perhaps Judge isn’t a priority regardless. Carlos Correa still remains on the market as an option for the team, unless they choose to go with a completely different option and wait to spend any money.
There’s no question Judge is going to make top dollar and all signs are pointing toward a return to the Yankees.
