Clayton Kershaw Proclaims Himself ‘Dodger For Life’ During World Series Parade

During the Dodgers World Series parade, legendary pitcher Clayton Kershaw proclaimed himself to be a “Dodger for life”. It was a moving speech by Kershaw and he was moved by all the emotion of the parade.

He has already said that he will return to the team for the 2025 season so fans will get to see him pitch once again. It remains to be seen if this will be his final season but Kershaw clearly still feels like he has something left in the tank.

During his speech, Kershaw also acknowledged that he had nothing to do with this title.

Kershaw also touched on his injury and made it clear that he feels good about heading into the offseason.

“Mentally, I feel great. I had shoulder surgery last offseason, and my shoulder and elbow, everything, my arm, feels great,” Kershaw said on the Fox pregame show. “Obviously, I had some tough luck with my foot this year. But I want to make use of this surgery. I don’t want to have surgery and shut it down. So I’m gonna come back next year and give it a go and see how it goes.”

Kershaw has flirted with retirement in recent years but has continued to come back to the Dodgers. He is a legend through and through and seems like he may stay with Los Angeles throughout his entire career.
