The Dodgers were targeting a high-leverage, right-handed reliever at this year’s trade deadline. Stewart fits that mold perfectly.

In 36 appearances against right-handed hitters this season, Stewart is allowing a batting average of just .104 with an OPS of .327. He has 29 strikeouts across those 67 at-bats.

Stewart is also under team control for multiple years, not eligible to hit free agency until 2028.
