Dodgers Activate Justin Turner and Option Josh Sborz to Alternate Camp
It has been 17 days since the Dodgers last played with Justin Turner in their lineup. In that time, Los Angeles has gone 9-5 and watched their lead in the NL West fall to just 1.5 games. The offense hasn’t exactly struggled, but they’ve also missed his bat in big situations.
It was announced today that the Dodgers would be getting that big bat back in their lineup. The team has activated Justin Turner from the injured list and he will be back in the lineup tonight against San Diego. Turner will DH before getting into the field again.

In a corresponding move to get JT back on the roster, the Dodgers have also optioned Josh Sborz back to the alternate location at USC. Turner will slot into the lineup at a time where Los Angeles arguably needs wins the most in the 2020 season. The San Diego Padres are hot, and scoring runs is going to be very important down the stretch.

This move was made one day too late.
YAY! I hope he can put the spark back into the team.
