Dodgers Announce Position Starters for NLDS Game 1

Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts has announced his starting position players for game one of the NLDS against the Washington Nationals and left-handed starting pitcher Patrick Corbin.

The order has not been announced but we do know the lineup will feature five right-handed-hitting position players. Will Smith, David Freese, Justin Turner, A.J. Pollock and Chris Taylor will all be in the lineup, according to Roberts.

Left-handed hitters Cody Bellinger, Max Muncy and Corey Seager will be the final three position players in the lineup. All of them are going to play daily no matter who is on the mound, according to Pedro Moura of The Athletic.

Walker Buehler, another right-handed hitter, will be the Dodgers’ starting pitcher for game one.

This season, the Dodgers’ have produced a 103 wRC+  and .777 OPS against left-handed pitchers. They will face a tough test in Corbin, who owns a 3.25 ERA, 3.49 FIP, 10.60 K/9 and 3.12 BB/9 in 202 innings this season.

First pitch is scheduled for 5:37 p.m. at Dodger Stadium. You can watch in on TBS or listen to it on AM 570 and ESPN radio.
