The Los Angeles Dodgers are back-to-back World Series champions and on the cusp of a three-peat.
Given that level of achievement and the proximity to Hollywood, a movie or television adaptation seems more likely than not.
The real question is, who would play the Dodgers’ stars on screen?
Dodgers Nation’s Robert Butler III has been considering that exact question and came up with a dream cast.
Check out a couple of the selections below, and be sure to watch the video to see the full list.
Timothee Chalamet as Justin Wrobleski
This one is fairly well known, but it’s so perfect that it had to be included.

Not only are Wrobleski and Chalamet obviously very similar physically, but they even are often spotted sporting similar facial hair.
It’s just too easy to picture Chalamet donning a No. 70 Dodgers jersey and jawing at the fictional Blue Jays as the benches clear. And fortunately for him, playing Wrobleski would mean his character wouldn’t have to hit.
It’s also not hard to picture Wrobleski as Paul Atreides in the “Dune” movie, though his sandworm-riding ability remains to be seen.
Glen Powell as Freddie Freeman
As if the stubble wasn’t enough, that made-for-Hollywood smile seals the deal.

The only question is this: When the chips are down and baseball history hangs in the balance, can Glen Powell blast a walk-off home run?
As we mentioned, that’s only a couple actors on a pretty extensive cast list. Check out RB3’s video breakdown for the full cast breakdown and let us know in the comments who you liked and who we missed.
