Dodgers Bring Back RHP Reyes Moronta From Triple-A

The Dodgers are set to take on the Angels for a 2-game set this week. They will then welcome the Guardians into town over the weekend for a 3-game set. With that, they’re going to need some help for a very tired and worked pitching staff. That includes the bullpen.

To help with that, the Dodgers are bringing Reyes Moronta back into the mix. The team recalled him from Triple-A today in preparation for the Angels series. Moronta had previously been optioned a few weeks prior.

Over his first 10 appearances this season, he has posted a 2.25 ERA across his 8 innings of work. He also punched out 7 batters and walked 3 in that same timespan. In order to make room for him on the roster, Michael Grove was optioned again.
