Dodgers Broadcast Team Set to Add Former Angels Analyst

The Dodgers are reportedly set to add the broadcast team for the upcoming season with the addition of veteran analyst José Mota. Bill Plunkett of the OC Register shared the news on Sunday that Mota, who recently announced that he would not be returning to the Angels broadcast team after two decades, will be leaving Orange County for Los Angeles for the 2022 season.

According to Plunkett, the Dodgers did not offer any comment on the rumored addition. In all likelihood, he’ll join the Spanish language broadcast team alongside Pepe Yñiguez, Fernando Valenzúela, and of course, the legendary Jaime Jarrín who is set to retire after the 2022 season.

Mota is a well-respected baseball person and is sure to be a phenomenal addition to the Dodger family.
