Dodgers Broadcaster Joe Davis Gets a Tear-Jerking Father’s Day Surprise
Happy Father’s Day, Dodgers Nation! This one is sure to pull on the heartstrings some. On Saturday, LA play-by-play man Joe Davis got a surprise during the national broadcast on FOX.
While calling the game between the Cardinals and the Red Sox, the team at FOX presented a Father’s Day themed package featuring Joe’s three children. The moment certainly was a tear-jerker.
The cutest thing you will see all day. ??

Led by Joe’s daughter Charlotte and oldest son Blake, and featuring his and wife Libby’s third child, the distracted Theo, the moment was absolutely heartwarming for the Davis clan.
Joe Davis is in his 7th season calling games for the Dodgers. This past offseason it was announced that the 33-year-old would be taking over lead play-by-play duties for MLB on FOX after the departure of long-time broadcaster Joe Buck.
The Dodgers play the Guardians at Dodger Stadium one more time before both teams head out of Los Angeles. Left-hander Andrew Heaney will be making his return from the Injured List for the first time since April. First pitch is set for 1:10 PM.
