Dodgers: CBS Sports Personality Calls Out LA Bats, Says Situation is a Hot Mess

Everyone has a take on the Dodgers in October. Once again, a much-hyped LA squad is knocking on the door to an early postseason exit and for Adam Schein, he’s heated.

What an absolute embarrassment for the LA Dodgers, a hot mess. If this team doesn’t make the World Series it’s an indictment on everyone.

Schein is a radio guy, so understandably there’s a shock jock vibe to the cadence of the man, but the point is dead on.

Clayton Kershaw is not the name to blame. If you want to name names, let’s start with the bats.

Game 4 was not alone in being highlighted with struggles for the Dodger bats. No, it’s a pattern for the series.

Still, the vitriol is once again being aimed at Kershaw by many — notably, not us — but that’s lazy. That’s a lazy and unfair take. Perhaps there is a Cubs-like curse hanging over the Dodger legend like an invisible cloud. How else do you explain Brusdar Graterol AND Victor Gonzalez failing for the first time all season? But Schein nails it here with this.

But if you’re blaming Clayton Kershaw for last night, I’m sorry we can’t be friends.

The Dodgers are down but not done. But the heart of the team may need to stop relying on punches to the face to motivate them to win.
