Dodgers Celebrate Christmas on Social Media
While Yasiel Puig was busy working out and the Dodgers were working on Kenta Maeda this Christmas, most the other players were enjoying their days off with their families.
We scoured Twitter to find some of the best snapshots and tweets of Dodgers celebrating for the holidays.
ICYMI: ESPN Lists NL West Favorites
Alex Wood kicks off the list with a GIF of Will Ferrell freaking out, which is always a safe bet to get a few laughs.

Then, Justin Turner informed Kike Hernandez of Santa’s location.
Hey @kikehndez looks like #Santa is in Puerto Rico, hope you remembered to leave him cookies!!! #FelizNavidadpic.twitter.com/SPkrLSNTk9

Hernandez’s response is also of note, as he informs us all that he is an apt baker — a true utility player.
@redturn2 he’s an hour away!!! Good thing the cookies just got done baking! Ttyl, gotta go nite nite so that I get my presents!

Hernandez catches a glimpse of Saint Nick that, honestly, freaked me out a little bit.
@redturn2 HE’S HERE! pic.twitter.com/qE5fMvq3HP

We then were reminded what Christmas is really about by Adrian Gonzalez.
Merry Christmas to all. Today we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Feliz Navidad a todos. Hoy celebramos a Jesus por haber nacido.

And then again by A.J. Ellis and his wife, Cindy.
Here’s the big finale….it’s not about stuff, it’s about relationships! https://t.co/eLxvrwxx6L Merry Christmas! https://t.co/XqwLbq03ji

Turn then jumps back into the fold with what is probably one of the coolest moments of the season.
When you run into 7/11 and a guy hits $10,000 on a scratcher!!! Merry Christmas buddy!!! ????

For those whiskey drinkers out there, Wood shows off the collection he was gifted and it’s pretty impressive.

To wrap things up, Joc Pederson went on a retweeting spree of fans unwrapping gifts with him as the subject. My personal favorite was this video of a kid’s astonishment at a Pederson-autographed card.
This won’t make the @dacardworld#12HitsofXmas but this is awesome! @Dodgers@yungjoc650pic.twitter.com/JPEfu0wvSX — Tim Phares (@Tim4Phares) December 25, 2015
This holiday season has been great and catching a glimpse into the players celebrating is one of the better qualities of what social media offers. Hope you all had a great holiday season, too!
