Dodgers Come From Behind Against the Angels in Virtual Spring Training 2020 Game

The Dodgers came from behind late against the Angels and won by a final of 3-2 in extra innings. Kenley Jansen blew a save opportunity in the 9th but got the win in extras. Pedro Baez earned the save for Los Angeles. (Give that man a bobblehead!)

PITCHING REPORT: David Price made his third start of the spring — first virtual — and tossed 7 innings while allowing only 1 hit and 1 earned run on the home run. He struck out 6 batters and walked 2. Scott Alexander made his first virtual appearance of the spring a tossed a scoreless 8th. Kenley Jansen blew the save but earned the win while Baez picked up his first save.

Shohei Ohtani threw over 100 pitches in his first cyber start since real Tommy John surgery in 2018. He held the Dodgers scoreless in his 7 innings.

HITTING REPORT: The Dodgers loaded the bases in the 9th inning before Matt Beaty capitalized with a 2 out, 2-run double. Justin Turner secured the win for the Dodgers with a go-ahead RBI single in the top of the 10th inning, his third hit of the game. Justin Upton and Mike Trout provided the offense for Anaheim with two solo shots.
