Dodgers Fans React to Noah Syndergaard’s Ongoing Struggles in Los Angeles
It’s no secret that starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard has underperformed since signing with the Dodgers in the offseason. In his last three starts, the 30-year-old has allowed over six hits per game and a total of 14 runs. All three games resulted in a loss.
Most recently, Syndergaard blew a 6-2 lead on Wednesday, allowing six earned runs across just three innings of work in an eventual 8-6 loss to the Reds.
The former Mets star is sporting an abysmal 7.16 ERA this season and has clearly lost just about all the speed on his fastball. While there was hope that Syndergaard might return to the ace he had been in New York, the results, unfortunately, have proven otherwise.
Over on our Twitter (@DodgersNation), we asked you, Dodgers fans, what your thoughts are on Thor’s time in Dodger blue thus far, in just three words or less.
How would you describe Noah Syndergaard’s time with Dodgers in 3 words or less?

I love this answer from a Dodger fan who wanted to show some respect.
Like Vin Scully,I believe in respecting ball players. Syndergaard and the Dodgers gave it a shot,it didn’t work. Baseball is a tough game. Syndergaard hasn’t been able to adjust to lower velocity. It’s time to move on.Maybe a team out of contention picks him up to get it together

And finally, some chose to cope with a little humor.

Time will tell if Syndergaard is a Dodger at the end of the season … or even the end of this week. It sounds like an injured list stint is in his future, but it remains to be seen if we see him on the mound for LA again this season.
