Dodgers Fans Sound Off on What LA Should Do at This Year’s Trade Deadline

Most of us probably didn’t see the Dodgers sitting at third place in the National League West as the end of June approaches. With a bullpen ranking among the worst in baseball in ERA, hits allowed and home runs allowed, the trade deadline might present an opportunity for the Dodgers to acquire a big name relief pitcher. Or they could bolster their already-potent offense by trading for a powerful bat.

We asked you to give us your thoughts on what the Dodgers should do by the Aug. 1 trade deadline over on our Twitter (@dodgersnation). Here are some of our favorite replies.

Some of you took a more conservative approach.

Others have already sold out on this season, and argued the Dodgers should stock up for the future.

Some had more specific transactional advice.

Whether the Dodgers decide to go all-in on a climb back up the NL West standings or reload for next year, the MLB Trade Deadline will, as always, serve up some exciting news.

  1. Fire someone in our training/ conditioning staff. Everyone getting hurt with knees or hamstrings
