Dodgers: Freddie Freeman’s Goosebump Inspiring Moment at Dodger Stadium

The Dodgers’ home opener was everything that you could have hoped for. After an excruciatingly long offseason, fans packed out the Ravine and the festivities were underway. That included a flag unfurling in the outfield, a phenomenal National Anthem, and a flyover by a pair of jets. It was great.

But it was also the first time that Freddie Freeman was introduced as a member of the Dodgers at the stadium. Naturally, fans were very excited to see him out there and to welcome him into their city. Chants of ‘Freddie, Freddie’ rained down every time he stepped into the box.

But one moment in the 8th inning was almost enough to bring your average baseball fan to tears. Freddie laced a double into the gap in left-centerfield, and Dodgers fans went wild. The chants of his name didn’t stop, and Freddie made sure to let them know how thankful he was.

It was an incredible moment, one that brought goosebumps to fans at home watching tv. Freddie Freeman is a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and he’s going to be very good here for a long time. What a wild time to be a fan.
