Dodgers: Go Through a Day in the Life of Justin Turner
Talk about living the red dream! Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner has entrenched himself as one of the greatest players to ever wear Dodger blue in his 8 seasons going on 9 with Los Angeles. Where he’s done most of his damage is in the playoffs where he leads the franchise in several categories including hits (83), home runs (13) and RBI (42).
In the regular season, he’s the unofficial captain of the club and the leader who has been referred to as “the heart and soul of the team” by teammate Austin Barnes.
So what does it take day in and day out to get to be that good, for this long? Earlier this season, JT helped answer that question by filming snippets of a regular day in his life. He posted the clips in a full video on his official Facebook page.

His includes plenty of snuggle time with the dogs, a nice healthy breakfast in the AM, and some leisure time in the pool. Already another perfect day. There’s also plenty of crossword puzzling, a traffic filled ride to work, and treatment with Possum, the team’s athletic trainers.
If that really is a regular day for JT, it looks like a wonderful life for the Long Beach Legend.
