Dodgers Highlights: 13 Runs Not Enough vs. Angels

A game that ran almost four hours produced 26 runs and 36 hits, but no winner. Ah, spring baseball.

A game that featured so much offense (and so little pitching or defense) will always produce plenty of highlights, so let’s take a look.

ICYMI: Early Injuries Force Dodgers to Adjust


First, Joc Pederson got the scoring going with a blast off Jered Weaver from the leadoff spot.

In the second inning, Austin Barnes sent a shot to the greater Prescott area.

Then, Scott Van Slyke followed with a blast of his own. Non-Dodgers note: As unimpressive as Scott Kazmir’s two innings were today, Angels fans should be significantly more worried about Jered Weaver, who throws about as fast the average freshman in high school at this point.
