As the regular season comes to an end and the Dodgers get closer to a shot at defending their 2024 World Series title in the postseason, the organization remains hard at work putting together events to bring the fanbase together even when the team is on the road.

Dodgers 365 has announced that their iconic “Movie Night On The Field” event will be making a return on Saturday, September 6 when the team is playing an away series against the Baltimore Orioles. This special night will allow fans to sit on the Dodger Stadium field and watch “Hook” starring Robin Williams and Julia Roberts on the big screen. You can buy your tickets now here.
“Movie Night On The Field” made its return to Dodger Stadium earlier this year with not one, but two sold-out dates where “The Sandlot” was played and some actors from the baseball classic even stopped by to meet those in attendance and sign autographs. Other movie nights at The Ravine have featured films like “42” and “Elf.”
This event will kick off at 5 pm when gates open to everyone who bought tickets and many activities will be available to partake in such as pitching in the bullpens, going on special behind-the-scenes tours in the stadium, jumping in unique photo opportunities and trying special food and drinks. “Hook” will start playing on the Dodger Vision big screens at 7 pm so there will be plenty of time to arrive and participate in the festivities before finding a seat on the field to enjoy.
Of course, nothing can fully take the place of seeing the Dodgers play a game at home but the events hosted by Dodgers 365 this season have certainly brought a new element into what it means to be a fan of the team.
There’s just something special about stepping foot onto the same field as the reigning World Series champions and thanks to special nights like this upcoming “Hook” screening, you have multiple opportunities to do so.
