Dodgers: Joe Davis and Orel Hershiser to Miss the Next Couple Broadcasts Due to COVID-19 Protocols

The Dodgers will be without their main broadcast team for the foreseeable future. Orel Hershiser and Joe Davis are the main duo on Sports Net LA broadcasts for the team, but neither will be available for at least the remainder of this series.

It was announced just before game time that the Dodgers broadcasters had entered COVID-19 quarantine protocols. The team added that Davis had tested positive and that he had also been fully vaccinated.

Davis is isolating at home after testing positive. Hershiser was is also at home quarantining given his close contact with Joe. The Dodgers did not say how long the 2 would be away from broadcasting, but 2 weeks seems to be the norm these days.

In their place, the Dodgers will have Tim Neverett and Ned Colletti on the broadcast tonight. Neverett has filled in often this season when Davis is away working Fox games and college football games.

Our best wishes to Joe and Orel and we’re hoping they get well soon!
