Dodgers’ Justin Turner Celebrates With Team Over FaceTime
Justin Turner was able to enjoy his team’s clinching the NL West regardless of his injury. Justin Turner has been such a huge part of the Dodgers’ success this year, that one could even argue that the Dodgers couldn’t be where they are without him.
. @redturn2 was at ballpark today but left before game was over since he was really sick. Turner Ward got him on face time from celebration.

Turner went down on Thursday in Philadelphia after being beaned in his right hand. He left the game for precautionary reasons; X-Rays came back negative. With the division claimed, he will get some much-needed rest before having to produce runs at the most important level possible. What put him over the top, however, was some “viral things” that he has been dealing with.
The Dodgers are searching for their first World Series visit since 1988. Most modern-day Dodger fans have never seen their team in a World Series. Dave Roberts told reporters that he will not be playing Saturday night against the Giants.
Dave Roberts said Justin Turner is unavailable tonight (still getting strength back, thumb still tender), Sunday TBD

Justin Turner went home early before the game had ended due to sickness. However, he was able to join in via FaceTime. Turner is a big clubhouse guy so I’m sure he loved getting to celebrate with his beloved teammates.
The main focus over the offseason was resigning Justin Turner and Kenley Jansen. Those motives proved to be very crucial as those guys are the catalysts today. We’ve seen in the past just how important it is to have a strong back end of the bullpen, and a guy who can hit in the mid .300’s. Tonight we will see the NL West title-winning Dodgers’ pursue home field advantage as they take on the San Francisco Giants.

All of the starters should get enough rest once home field advantage is clinched.
