The Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the National League Division Series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday.

Left-handed pitcher Blake Snell is taking the mound for LA against fellow southpaw Jesus Luzardo of the Phillies.

Snell went 5-4 this season with a 2.35 ERA and 72 strikeouts across 61.1 innings this year. Luzardo went 15-7 with a 3.92 ERA and 216 strikeouts across 183.2 innings.

Snell pitched last week in Wild Card Game 1, throwing seven innings while allowing two earned runs with nine strikeouts. He’ll look to help LA take a potentially insurmountable two-game lead in the best-of-five series.

As for the lineup, Will Smith is still sidelined with a hairline fracture in his throwing hand, but he should be available off the bench. Max Muncy is also out of the lineup, with Miguel Rojas starting at the hot corner.

Manager Dave Roberts hinted at potentially using Smith off the bench again like he did in Game 1, with Ben Rortvedt taking the first few innings.

“To have him catch four innings and then to potentially run that same playbook, certainly there’s value to that,” Roberts said Sunday. “But if he says that he feels great, there’s no remnants of Game 1, it might be hard for me not to kind of pencil him in. But certainly there’s potential upside in having him catch four or five innings.
