The Los Angeles Dodgers open their series against the Arizona Diamondbacks Thursday night at Chase Field.

L.A. will not have two of its best hitters in the lineup as Tommy Edman and Teoscar Hernandez remain on the injured list. Edman, who’s eligible to return this series, isn’t expected to be back until next week. Hernández is still a few weeks away.
For Thursday’s matchup, the Dodgers have Hyeseong Kim at second base and James Outman in center field.

Dodgers ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto will be on the mound Thursday. The right-hander has a mind-boggling 0.90 ERA with 49 strikeouts and 13 walks. Yamamoto currently has a 1.5 WAR.
