The series opener will feature a battle of aces, as right-handed pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto (11-8, 2.66 ERA) is facing off against right-hander Logan Webb (14-10, 3.34 ERA).
Yamamoto faced the Giants last week in San Francisco, pitching seven innings while allowing just one run with 10 strikeouts. Webb faced the Dodgers the very next day, and got rocked, allowing six runs on 10 hits across four innings.
