Dodgers Lineup vs Mets: Freddie Freeman Out, Tommy Edman Returns

The Los Angeles Dodgers lineup was shutdown in Wednesday’s 6-1 loss to the New York Mets. Only a solo homer from Andy Pages was what a loaded Dodgers lineup could muster against one of the hottest teams in baseball.

Freddie Freeman will not play Thursday as a regular scheduled day off. Tommy Edman, who was out of the lineup Tuesday and Wednesday, returns for the series finale against the Mets.

The Dodgers lineup will face Mets left-handed pitcher David Peterson on the mound Thursday. Peterson is 4-2 with a 2.69 ERA this season.
