The Padres have right-hander Dylan Cease taking the mound, who last faced the Dodgers in the 2024 NLDS, where he made two starts, allowing eight earned runs over five innings of work. This season, he’s uncharacteristically struggled, sporting a 4.72 ERA over 68.2 innings pitched.

Here’s the lineup that the Dodgers will deploy against Cease, with Will Smith and Hyeseong Kim out and Michael Conforto back in the lineup.

Dodgers Starting Lineup

  1. Shohei Ohtani, DH
  2. Mookie Betts, SS
  3. Freddie Freeman, 1B

  5. Max Muncy, 3B
  6. Andy Pages, CF
  7. Michael Conforto, LF

    1. I don’t get it. I will give Roberts a bit of a reprieve as I think he does what he is told by AF/BG.

    2. I’m with you on this. I don’t understand the insistance on playing Conforto. He can’t hit the ball to save his life. They just have to admit they made a huge mistake on signing this guy.
