The Los Angeles Dodgers routed the New York Yankees 18-2 Saturday evening at Dodger Stadium. The defending champions will look to secure the series sweep Sunday to close out the Fall Classic rematch.
Mookie Betts is dealing with a fractured toe, and will not be available for the series finale against the Bronx Bombers. Hyeseong Kim played at shortstop Saturday and made history against the Yankees.
Kim became the only MLB player in the modern era to record four-plus hits, a home run, an unassisted double play and an outfield assist all in one game.
Nevertheless, the Dodgers have penciled in Miguel Rojas as the starting shortstop Sunday. Rojas also got the nod for Friday’s series opener as Betts was scratched from the lineup.
The Dodgers lineup will face Yankees left-hander Ryan Yarbrough on the mound. With a lefty pitching, Michael Conforto is sitting for Sunday’s series finale. Tommy Edman will be in center field, and Andy Pages will shift to left.

The problem with Roberts he sits players who have a hot bat. He plays Conforto too much who is hovering around .175 and he gets around 17 million a year for hitting below the Mendoza line. Conforto should he released, sent to minors to work on his swing, or traded. Give Ryan Ward a shot at the big club. It is time.
