Dodgers Lineup vs Yankees: Mookie Betts Surprisingly Out in World Series Rematch

It’s a World Series rematch Friday night at Dodger Stadium as the Los Angeles Dodgers face off against the New York Yankees for the first time since October 2024. Both teams look quite different from when they last met.

The Dodgers lineup will face Yankees ace Max Fried on the mound. Fried was signed by the Bronx Bombers last offseason, and is sporting a 1.29 ERA with 67 strikeouts.

It appears the Dodgers will be without starting shortstop Mookie Betts for Friday’s series opener.
