Right-handed pitcher Landon Knack was recalled to start Wednesday’s game. Right-handed pitcher J.P. Feyereisen, who got the loss Tuesday night, was optioned.

Additionally, Matt Sauer is with the team, per The Athletic’s Fabian Ardaya, but he would only be eligible to be recalled if someone is headed to the injured list.

As for Knack, he will be making his fourth appearance of the season, and it will be as a traditional starter. Through 8.2 total innings this season, the right-hander has seven strikeouts and seven earned runs.

It’s been a different story for the 27-year-old during his time in Triple-A, as he has a 3.98 ERA through four appearances. Knack has thrown 19 strikeouts to nine walks in 20.1 innings with nine earned runs this season in Oklahoma City.

Feyereisen was recently re-acquired by the Dodgers as he pitched in 10 games for L.A. in 2024 and started the 2025 season with the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was put on waivers by Arizona last week and picked up by the Dodgers, getting called up on Tuesday.

It was a less-than-ideal outing, especially for his first with the team upon his re-introduction, as Feyereisen gave up a walk and two hits, one of which ended the game for the Dodgers in the bottom of the 10th inning.

After a 2024 campaign that saw Knack toss a 3.65 ERA with 69 strikeouts to 18 walks over 69 innings, the right-hander hopes to recapture some of that consistency and bring more command to the mound than he has shown in 2025.
