As L.A. looks to complete the three-game sweep of the Yankees, the arrival of Davis signals the Dodgers will likely make a roster move before first pitch.

Davis was optioned by the Dodgers at the end of April after being called up once Tyler Glasnow went on the injured list.

The right-hander’s last outing for the Dodgers was his best as he pitched two scoreless innings against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Davis, who was traded to L.A. from the Boston Red Sox, has made three appearances for the Dodgers this year.

The right-hander has a 10.13 ERA with three strikeouts and 1.875 WHIP across 2.2 innings pitched in 2025.

Across 20.1 innings pitched with Triple-A Oklahoma City, Davis has a 5.75 ERA with 26 strikeouts and 1.28 WHIP.

The 27-year-old was an 11th-round pick by the Cincinnati Reds in 2018. He was traded to the Colorado Rockies in 2021, where he made his MLB debut the following season.

Across three seasons with the Rockies, Davis has thrown 51.1 innings, producing a 7.71 ERA with 43 strikeouts and 23 walks.
