Player of the Day – Chris Anderson

It wasn’t his best start, but Anderson has bounced back from a rocky start to string together three good outings in a row. In that span, he’s allowed just four runs in 16 innings while striking out 22. Brandon Liebhaber of the Quakes reports that Chris was sitting 92-94 late in the game and throwing both his slider and curveball. His command still needs to progress but the power stuff should allow him to succeed even without his best control.
