Player of the Day – Brandon Dixon
Dixon was on something of a cold streak, having gone 2 for 21 from May 19 to May 24. However, over the past five games, he’s had four multi-hit games and gone 9-for-24 overall with three home runs. He’s still hitting .325 in May and up to .249 overall with 13 doubles and six home runs. Hitting in the California League helps, especially with his last two home runs coming in High Desert, but any boost in production is welcomed.
