Player of the Day – Aaron Miller
The converted pitcher is on a tear at the plate. He’s 8 for his last 12 with a double and three home runs. Aaron is now batting .271/.353/.519 overall with half a dozen homers and 13 doubles. He could stand to improve against lefties, who are holding him to a .200 batting average. The biggest surprise is his home/road split. LoanMart Field, which plays as a slight pitcher’s park, has been Miller’s favorite place to hit, as evidenced by his 1.140 OPS there. His OPS on the road is just .613. I guess there really is no place like home.
