Player of the Day – Adam Law
Adam Law missed 12 days in May, but has come back like a house on fire. Since coming off the disabled list, he’s hit .370 with a 1.025 OPS. Law showed excellent patience over the past week, walking five times and striking out just three times.
He hasn’t hit for much power, but does have eight doubles in 33 games. His positional versatility is also valuable, as he’s spent time at second base, third base and left field this season. Law is already 24 but he can move quickly thanks to his ability to make contact and could settle in as a role player on a major league club.
