Mieses signed in June of 2013 as a 17 year old and reported to the DSL affiliate, where he hit .222 in 16 games. In his second season, he’s had more success, batting .285/.359/.531 with 18 extra-base hits and 19 stolen bases in 37 games.
Mieses has split time between center field and right field, as well as servings as a designated hitter. In 14 games in July, he’s hitting .380 with four of his five home runs.
