Dodgers Minor Leaguer Made Incredible Shohei Ohtani Painting Out of Rubik’s Cubes
Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani has now been painted in Rubik’s Cubes.
In an incredible piece of art, Los Angeles Dodgers minor league pitcher Jack Dreyer showed that pitching is far from his only talent as he showed off a painting he made of Ohtani in Rubik’s Cubes, via New York Post’s Jon Heyman.
The 25-year-old Dreyer pitched 54.2 innings in 2023, recording 79 strikeouts and a 2.30 ERA. In 1.2 innings of Spring Training action, Dreyer had four strikeouts and a 10.80 ERA.
Regarding the star designated hitter, this is just the latest artifact that depicts the craze surrounding Ohtani. The frenzy isn’t just the constant attention from the media and reporters, but now paintings and sculptures. Ohtani has previously been built as a snow sculpture, a.k.a “Snowhei Ohtani.”
What’s even more spectacular is Ohtani is still just entering his prime. At just 29-years-old, there’s still plenty more Ohtani can accomplish to further put his legacy in another league.
For now, he’s already quite accomplished as a three-time MLB All-Star, two-time AL MVP, an AL home run leader, and a three-time Edgar Martínez award winner, given to the most outstanding designated hitter. And that’s just what he’s done in Major League Baseball.
Over the next 10 years, he’ll be hoping to add some postseason accolades to that list. The Dodgers are a great spot for him to do just that.
