Dodgers: Mitch White Set to Make First Start of the Season in Philly
The Dodgers are set to go with right-hander Mitch White to start Saturday evening’s game against the Phillies. Manager Dave Roberts confirmed that White would indeed be getting his first start of the season following Friday night’s 4-1 victory in Philadelphia.

White missed nearly a month of the season after coming down with covid-19. In 5 games this year, the 27-year-old owns a 4.82 ERA over 9.1 innings pitched. Saturday will be his fifth career start at the big league level. However, he’s not expected to pitch deep into the game. Roberts said on Friday that the expectation for White is about 45 pitches or three innings.
