Dodgers: Mookie Betts Leaves Game With Injury
Dodgers fans got a bit of a scare Sunday afternoon when one of their star players went down. Mookie Betts left the game with a sore finger after the top of the 7th inning when Edwin Rios took his spot.
For Betts, it is likely just a precaution as the Dodgers would obviously like to preserve their guy. After all, they did just sign the right fielder to a massive 12-year extension.

The Dodgers beat the Diamondbacks 3-0 even without Betts patrolling the outfield for the last few innings. Betts was 2-for-3 with a homerun and a double before having to leave the game. He had appeared to hurt his hand in the 5th innings before hitting a homerun.
What’s Next for the Dodgers
After today’s win, the Dodgers will head to San Diego for a series with the Padres. They will play three there before heading back home. The Giants come to town for a three-game series starting on Friday. They are off for a rest day on Thursday.
