Dodgers Need to Trade For a Righty Bat, What Bats are Available, Adam Duval, Tommy Pham and More
The Dodgers opened their second half of the season with a big 6-0 win over the New York Mets. The hope is that this victory can help set the tone for the rest of the season as the team looks to go on a run toward another World Series. It has been an incredibly frustrating but also weirdly satisfying season for LA but they do need to make some moves if they want to really contend.
Their pitching issues have been at the forefront all year long but they also have a big need for another strong right-handed bat in their lineup. Of course, the team has All-Stars Mookie Betts, J.D. Martinez and Will Smith but they could use more reliable at-bats from a righty.
They still have utility-man Chris Taylor as well but he has been inconsistent this season and has dealt with some injuries as well. LA did sign former Detroit Tigers outfielder Jake Marisnick but he provides more defense than anything. So the need for them to go and acquire a good bat from the right side of the plate is crucial for their success this season.
There could be some names available as the trade deadline quickly approaches here. Some of those include Adam Duvall, Tommy Pham, Tim Anderson and more. Whatever LA decides to do, they should look to do it sooner rather than later to give this team a better chance this season.

How much better could they do than already trading for Marisnic! His BA vs lefties is a whopping .235 and he’s a former Astro!
Some good trades are the ones you never make, this looks like it fits into that category.
