Dodgers News: Adrian Gonzalez Likely Out Until Mid-July
Dodgers’ Manager Dave Roberts announced early Wednesday morning that Adrian Gonzalez has received an epidural injection to help nurture his herniated disk.
Nothing is for certain, but it is likely that we will not see him back until mid to late July. Gonzalez was formerly the meat of the Dodgers’ lineup. But with just one home run, and batting .255, this is not the Adrian Gonzalez that we’ve come accustomed to.
Adrian Gonzalez got an epidural injection in his back. Roberts said "hope" is that he can return by All-Star break.

In A-Gon’s 13-year career, this season has been the only season that has included trips to the DL. Both with his back and a nagging elbow injury. Having the old A-Gon back would add even more spark to the Dodgers’ lineup that has put up an outrageous amount of runs. Question is, can A-Gon return to his former self?
It is likely that we will see Bellinger at 1st base and Taylor in left for the time being; if it’s not broke, don’t fix it.
