Dodgers News And Rumors: Wilson Content With His Production

[new_royalslider id=”16″]

When the Los Angeles Dodgers signed Brian Wilson last season, he proved to be a steal by allowing one earned run in 18 regular-season innings and zero runs in six postseason appearances. Fast forward to this season and the eight-year veteran has not faired as well.

Manager Don Mattingly acknowledged a difference in the reliever’s results from 2013 to this season, however Wilson had a more optimistic outlook. Wilson pointed to him being second on the team in holds and said his struggles have come in situations he’s usually not pitched in.

Since the All-Star break, Wilson has put together a few scoreless streaks and besides one blunder, appears to be moving closer to his 2013 form.
