Dodgers News: Andre Ethier to Throw Out the First Pitch in Game 3

It’s difficult for Dodgers fans to think past any game right now other than the one that is in front of them. And while we all wait patiently for Game 2 of the Division Series to kick off in San Francisco, there are things to look forward to when they come home

The Dodgers will have Andre Ethier throw out the first pitch before Game 3 on Monday. In their first home game of the series, Los Angeles will look to Captain Clutch to bring them some good luck, and they’re hoping it happens with the series tied up.

Ethier has not played professional baseball since 2017 after retiring. But the longtime outfielder has stuck around the Dodgers organization and become very involved with am570 over the last 2 years.

Trea Turner came from a team that did not average much in terms of attendance to the Los Angeles Dodgers. So there were bound to be a few differences that the star infielder was going to pick up on. One of those things that he has been really impressed by? The fact that he sees so many people cheering for him on the road.

The Dodgers need a big win in San Francisco on Saturday night. Facing the possibility of going down 2 games to the Giants, they have the right guy out on the mound for them. Julio Urias will get the ball in the Bay Area and hopefully can shut down the Giants’ offense.

  1. There used to be a Nun’s Day at the ballpark once a year.
To commemorate that day, which has been gone for decades, I think a Nun should throw out that first ball and Eithier the catcher.

  2. Anything that includes Ethier is alright with me.Including announcing, commentating and coaching.
