Dodgers News: Andrew Friedman Talks Depth, Puig, and More!
AM570LASports’ Fred Roggin and Leeann Tweeden had President of Baseball Operations, Andrew Friedman, on the show today. Friedman spoke about various players on the team; however, there was always a subtle undertone based around depth. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights!
The interview began of course with Clayton Kershaw and how his absence has affected the Dodgers. Friedman of course started out with a get well soon spiel about Kersh, but really focused the conversation on how the main reason for the Dodgers success through injuries has been depth.
"We think we have the depth and the talent on this roster to kind of hold down the fort… until Kersh returns" Via Andrew Friedman

ICYMI: Kershaw Talks Being on DLFriedman is calm, cool, and collective at this point in the season and has evidence to back up his position. Fans may not be so keen to his moves so far, but they haven given the Dodgers depth which is the only thing keeping them alive in a sea of injuries. With the trade deadline approaching soon, it will be exciting to see what “elite” and “Impact” players Friedman goes after!

Friedman isnt going after anybody unless its a pitcher with problems
How is Friedman “depth” different from other 29 teams? Does he have 41 players? If he had depth with talent he wouldn’t have to keep picking up these 1 game and gone, no name, no talent players.
