Thursday proved to be an interesting day on the trade front for the Dodgers… or lack thereof. After agreeing in principle to a three-team deal that would bring Mookie Betts and David Price to Los Angeles on Tuesday, reports surfaced that there was a hang up along the way.
As the big trade came to a stop, so too did the other trade with the Angels.
While the deals are still expected to happen in some capacity, reactions still came in praising the Dodgers acquisitions of Price and Betts.
One source of good news came in the form of a well-deserved extension going to America’s Slugger Max Muncy.
Aside from players, trades, and contracts, one current Dodger took an opportunity to call out MLB’s upcoming three batter minimum rule for pitchers and how it may affect careers.
